TradeHub, LLC ("TradeHub," "we," "us," or "our") operates the TradeHub platform at withtradehub.com, the TradeHub browser extension, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our Service.

By using TradeHub, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Account information: Name, email address, password, company name, and role when you create an account.
• Billing information: Payment card details and billing address, processed and stored by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full card number.
• Content: Products you clip, boards you create, proposals, presentations, invoices, images, and any other materials you upload or create through the Service.
• Credential vault data: Login credentials for third-party trade portals that you choose to store. These are encrypted using AES-256 encryption.
• Communications: Information you provide when contacting support or providing feedback.
• Client information: Names, email addresses, and other details of your clients that you add to the Service for proposals, invoices, and project management.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data: We use PostHog for product analytics to understand how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, and actions taken.
• Device and browser information: Browser type, operating system, device type, screen resolution, and language preferences.
• IP address: Used for security, fraud prevention, and approximate geolocation.
• Cookies and similar technologies: We use essential cookies for authentication and session management, and analytics cookies through PostHog. See Section 8 for details.

Information from third parties

• Browser extension data: When you use the TradeHub extension to clip products, the extension collects product information (name, price, images, descriptions, dimensions) from the third-party website you are visiting.
• AI providers: When you use AI Studio, your prompts and inputs are processed by third-party AI providers (Google, OpenAI, Flux) to generate outputs.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Send transactional emails (account verification, password resets, billing receipts, proposal notifications)
• Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries
• Analyze usage patterns to improve the Service and develop new features
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your content to train AI models.

3. How We Share Your Information

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account or cancel your subscription:

• Your data is retained for 30 days for recovery purposes, in case you wish to reactivate your account.
• After 30 days, your data is permanently deleted from our active systems.
• Some data may be retained in encrypted backups for a limited period and in anonymized/aggregated form for analytics.
• We may retain certain information as required by law (e.g., billing records for tax purposes).

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:

• AES-256 encryption for stored credentials in the credential vault
• TLS encryption for all data in transit
• Secure authentication with hashed passwords
• Access controls limiting employee access to personal data

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Deletion: Request that we delete your personal information.
• Portability: Request a copy of your data in a portable format.
• Objection / Restriction: Object to or request restriction of certain processing activities.

• Analytics cookies: Used by PostHog to understand how users interact with the Service. These help us improve the product.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may prevent the Service from functioning properly.

Your data is transferred to the United States and processed by service providers in various jurisdictions. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, and other appropriate safeguards, to protect your data during international transfers.

We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, as there is no industry-standard approach for honoring them. We do not engage in cross-site tracking.

TradeHub is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from someone under 18, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
